Chetan Bhagat completed his graduation from IIT & his post graduation (MBA) from IIM Ahmadabad. He writes about Indian youngsters who have some vision, enthusiasm, passion to fulfill their dreams. He writes about Indian youngsters for the youngsters. The 3 mistake of my life is his third novel. It considered as his most successful novel.

Chetan receives a mail from Govind, who has taken many sleeping pills & write e-mail to the Chetan Bhagat. Chetan was shaken enough to go to the Ahmadabad & find Govind. Fortunately he survives & tells the story to Chetan Bhagat & influences him to write a novel.

Three mistakes of my life summary

It is story of true life events. It is the story of three close friends of Ahmadabad (Gujrat). Ishant, Omi & Govind they are young, passionate, and ambitious about their goals in the life. They all want to start their own business in Ahmadabad. So they decided to start sell the cricket stuff, Govind as a mathematician teach maths to Ishant’s sister Vidya , Inshant become the circket coach, Ishant start coaching to the youngsters & the Omi is the son of a priest, so they open a cricket shop in nearby Omi’s father’s temple. Gradually their shop gets success. So they start to switch to the bigger shop in the mall.  The whole novel revolves around Govind’s life, & the three major mistakes made by him in life.

The turning point of this novel is when a muslim boy name Ali come into their life. Ali has a unique quality to watch moving objects more precisely as compare to others, so he can see a movement of ball of the baller more significantly. Just because of his skills, Inshant show interest to coach him. On the other side of the story Govind loose his heart to Vidya (Ishant’s younger sister).

The novel concerns with the Hindu-Muslim ongoing war. Omi’s uncle who is a man of communal party, lost his son in such a riot fire. While on the other side of the story Ishant comes to know about Vidya & Govind. He slap Govind for his betray & not talk him for two years, which yields Govind to suicide. Omi’s uncle wants to kill Ali for revenge, but Omi save him.

Kai po che based on the 3 mistakes of my life by Chetan Bhagat

A movie has all ready been made on this novel, “kai po che”. But readers do not to be panic. The novel is describe the circumferences more precisely than movie & there is little twist at ending.
Overall the three mistakes of my life is a beautiful novel. The price of this is considerable & it is determined by keeping the target readers in mind. Everyone should go through this novel. This is my all time favorite novel. The pace of the tale is good & its retain the readers interest.
